TAsk 6: Action -Reaction


















The force on charge q1 placed at a distance r from q2. The force on q1 is F=q1E where E is the field strength of q2 , E=k q2/r2 . Put together these two formulas to deduce the expression for force F on q1. Write the expression in the space on the right.
The force on charge q2 placed at a distance r from q1. The force on q2 is F=q2E where E is the field strength of q1 , E=kq1/r2. Put together these two formulas to deduce the expression for force F on q2. Write the expression in the space on the right.
Draw in the same diagram above the E-vector due to charge q1 at q2 and also the force on q2.
Compare the two forces in terms of its direction and magnitude.
