Fundamentals: projectile motion

An object is projected into the air with a velocity v, at and angle to the horizontal. This problem requires careful working along the x and y direction.
Strategy:
1. Search for time of flight. It may be found along x or y direction.
2. Time of flight can be used in the x and y direction calculations.
3. A quantity such as velocity , position (displacement) can only be found in its components.
4. Velocity can be found using pythagoras theorem(magnitude) and tan (angle)for direction when applied to its components.
