Fundamentals : Ionisation energy

Ionisation energy can be read from n=1 , as n=infinity is E = 0. It is the energy required to escape from ground state . In the case of hydrogen n = 1 is E = - 13.6 eV, hence ionisation energy is 13.6 eV.
