Much publicity at Tg Tuan near Port Dickson.Went there via Melaka (Ayer Keroh) on the 18 March. Nearer via PD but was a nice drive through quaint houses in Melaka passing through small towns like Masjid Tanah and Lubok Cina. Went up to the lighthouse at 4 pm, met few disappointed bird watchers with their cameras ready.Left the park disappointed. Drove around PD and saw great transfomation compared to more than 15 years ago.Checked out of PD and was on the way home , stopped by Eagles ranch to visit the unusual accomodation,red indian style. Suddenly saw few birds circling the sky. Decided to turn back to tg tuan . Stayed outside Ilham resort grounds. Was an awesome sight to see a dark patch appearing in the sky. As they come overhead they began circling in two groups . After a few minutes they flew off inland. Waited again , then the same thing happen but this time could see one clearly as it was way down. Had white trimings along the whole wingspan.Difficult to see even with binoculars as they are flying . No picture taken of the birds. Had a few stray ones flying above the trees. Was well worth it for first bird watching trip to tg tuan. Time: 12 - 1 pm on 19 March 2009
