Fundamentals : Why is momentum changing in a satellite?

Momentum is a vector having magnitude and direction . Momentum changes for a satellite moving a constant speed because the direction is changing eventhough the magnitude is constant . A net force (gravitational force) is acting on the satellite hence there must be a change of momentum.
