Time of flight = L/ux (if the charge emerges from the plate. If the charge does not emerge from the plate , find time taken for the charge to hit the plate. If not sure whether it will emerge , find both times and see which happen first , emerge from plate or hit one of the plate. Choose the one that will happpen first.
