Stream of photons

pic from wikipedia
Light incident on photoelectric substance has intensity I , the power received in unit area is P, the energy received per unit time is E. If each photon carry hf of energy , then E= N(hf) where N is the number of photons incident per unit time. Therefore if light has greater intensity will have greater N but hf remains the same as the frequency of light remains the same. If N increase photo-e emitted per s increases , photocurrent increases. Photocurrent is directly proportional to intensity.Since frequency(photon energy ) remain the same the ke ( stopping potential V) remain the same.
