Fundamentals: Kinetic theory

Why does the pressure increase when temperature of the gas in a fixed container increase. Explain using kinetic theory.
Use the model that gas consist of molecules moving at random .

When the temperature increase , the molecules move at a greater speed. These molecules hit the wall of container experincing greater change in momentum (2mv). Hence a greater force is exerted on the wall. Force exerted by all the molecules bouncing off the wall of area A produces a greater pressure on the wall.
